It’s natural to have lots of questions when you’re letting a stranger take care of your cat These are just some of the common questions that we provide answers for below. If you still have something you’re unsure about after going through the list, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and We will get back to you ASAP.

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU VISIT & WHEN?

We will arrange an initial visit to meet you and your cat(s). We can discuss the number of daily visits and timings so that we can quickly get a routine established with your cat. We can visit once or twice daily depending on your cat needs. We do have clients we visit 3 times a day. Some cats don’t like much of a fuss, and will only need to be fed and checked, whereas other cats crave more attention, and we are quite prepared to dedicate more time to play, cuddling and socializing.
At that initial meeting, we complete our Cat Care Plan to ensure we fully understand your cats dietary & medication needs. We also like to know if they have any loves dislikes and idiosyncrasies.

HOW MANY CATS IN ONE HOME WILL YOU CAT SIT FOR?

We will after one to any number of cats in one hone.. just remember proper care for each cat takes time and we do charge a supplement for more than 2 cats. This is because we need to spend more time with each cat and usually more domestic duties to undertake, litters, bowl cleaning, hoovering etc. We provide breeder support services and if you are interested please contact us for a tailored quote.

CAN YOU CARE FOR MY CAT WHO HAS A MEDICAL CONDITION?

Yes, we are quite happy to care for your cat providing he has no contagious infections. We will administer medication adhering to your written instructions. We are scrupulous about hygiene and change shoes and clothes after each house visit. We also use hospital grade hand wash after handling each cat.

CAN YOU GIVE MEDICINES OR TREATMENTS TO CATS?

Yes we will administer prescribed pills and potions... and will manage external prescribed treatments ( creams, eyes drops etc.) We are happy to visit for quick meds or potion visit if you are at work and need help. Note any meds we administer should be prescribed by your vet and we need evidence of dose and frequency.

MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. CAN YOU TAKE THEM?

If you are at work or busy, we can arrange to transport your cat to vets appointments. We also ask you to leave your vet details if you are going away or on holiday & we feel your cat needs medical attention we will contact you first on your emergency telephone number to discuss.  In the event of an emergency when we cannot contact you, we will consider the situation. We may decide the cat's condition requires urgent, veterinary attention.
